1985 में DDA ने स्लम निवासियों और अन्य लोगो के लिए आवासीय मकानों की योजना निकाली और कहा गया की 35000 रुपये में सबको बने बनाये 45 गज के फ्लैट दिए जाएंगे। पर 15000 से ज्यादा आवेदक आज भी प्रतीक्षा ही कर रहे है और सरकारी ऑफिसेस और नेताओ के पास जा जा कर चप्पल घिस रहे है। इस स्कीम से जुड़े आवेदक जो अब बुजुर्ग हो चके है वो और उनके परिवार वाले अब इस मुहीम को आगे बढ़ा रहे है

30 Dec 1985: Total applicant applied : 27,693 and Total amount Collected: 8.5 Crores
01 Sep 1992: DDA transferred the Scheme to MCD with name DUSIB
11 Dec 1994: MCD First Draw for total 1734 flats (page 14). Price of per unit flat 55866
20 Feb 1999: MCD Second Draw for total 1066 flats (page 15) Price of per unit flat 291600
2001 DDA/DUSIB acquired land for this scheme
19 Sept 2015: In Board of Director, Minutes of Meeting Price of these flats was decided.
DUSIB decided the price on the same basis of DDA’s scheme.
CEO authorised to revise the cost if required. (PDF page 13)
However as per DUSIB website, Actual Cost of Flats of Savda Ghevra Flats is 5.34 Lakh.
